Alpine Spruce

Grown in the higher elevations of the Alps. Very stiff and stable, yet acoustically brilliant. Selected for its fine, even grain and clear appearance, it produces a powerful but mellow sound.

European Spruce

Extremly vibrant top wood. Ideal for any size or style of guitar. Used for many years by all famous luthiers for it's beautiful resonance projection.

 

Sitka Spruce

Extremly vibrant top wood. Ideal for any size or style of guitar. Chosen for its straight, niform grain, longevity and strength.

Very dense, deep basses and brilliant trebles

Highly resonant with full, deep basses and brilliant trebles.

 

Ebone

Very dense, used mostly for fingerboards and bridges

Claro Walnut

Similar to density and grain structure of koa. Yields excellent balance with characteristics between rosewood and mahogany.

 

Honduran Mahogany

Much lighter in weight than rosewood. Yields a suprisingly strong, loud with an emphasis on bright, airy trebles.

East Indian Rosewood

Very resonant, producing deep, warm, projective bass response

 

Curly Maple

Yields excellent balance with characterictics between rosewood and mahogany.

Bird's Eye Maple

Yields excellent balance with characterictics as Curly Maple. Very rare and expensive.

 

Caviuna

Highly resonant with full, deep basses and brilliant trebles. Probably the closest option to the Brazilian Rosewood.

Jacaranda

Extremly dense, deep basses and brilliant trebles.

 

Santos Rosewood

Similiar to the Bubingo, more spectacular.

Flame Maple

Yields excellent balance with characterictics between rosewood and mahogany, as well as Curly Maple.
